Tesco has announced plans to move its existing store in Ilkley to a new larger site in the town. Residents & Ilkley Parish and District Councillors are concerned about the impact on traffic and existing businesses. A campaign group, Ilkley Residents Against Tesco Encroachment (IRATE) has been set up to oppose the plans.
